Opportunity: Ontario Health is seeking expressions of interest from Physicians for the position of Clinical Advisor, Health Technology Assessment Program to support the Health Technology Assessment (HTA) Program and the broader Health Innovation Pathway within the Clinical Institutes and Quality Programs (CIQP) portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Director, Cancer Control and Evidence Integration, the Clinical Advisor will work closely with the HTA Program leadership team and staff to provide guidance for the innovation pathway all phases of the health technology assessment process. This will include providing advice on the scope, design, analysis, and contextualization of health technology assessment topics. Additionally, the advisor will support the Health Technology Assessment Program staff in preparing material for the Ontario Health Technology Advisory Committee (OHTAC), senior leadership briefings, attend pre-briefs with Committee chair and vice chair in preparation for the OHTAC meetings, attend OHTAC meetings in an ex-officio capacity, be available to Ontario Health’s Health Technology Assessment management team in an advisory capacity, review and edit analytical plans and draft and final HTA reports before public posting. The clinical advisor will be part of the clinical leadership team for CIQP and work closely with the HTA program leadership.
