- First Priorities: After Bullet Rounds, patients scheduled for discharge that day should be seen first and discharged, preferably before 11am. The senior residents should see the patients in the Step-Up Unit first, to determine whether they are stable enough for transfer to the ward.
- Noon-rounds: At the beginning of the month, a schedule is circulated by the chief resident or Betty-Anne (the administrative assistant), highlighting the scheduled noon-rounds for the month. These are high yield topics. Lunch is provided.
- End of the Day: You will typically meet with your team at the end of the day to “run the list” and to handover to the on-call resident.
