Educational Activities

Educational activities at SMH include the following:

  • Noon rounds (daily from 12-1pm, except Wednesdays) (14CC large conference room)

    • Learn about Internal Medicine topics

    • Lunch is provided

  • Grand rounds (Wednesdays from 12-1pm) (LiKaShing 2nd floor auditorium)

    • Lunch is provided

  • Code Blue simulation sessions (Li Ka Shing basement, Simulation Centre)

    • 1.5 hour sessions where you will be immersed into code blue simulations with your on call team

    • Your CMR will email you with the details of these sessions at the start of every block

    • You will attend one of these per CTU block

  • Harvey Simulation Teaching

    • Each team has a monthly booking to enjoy cardiac simulation teaching with “Harvey” in our simulation center. These sessions run either on Wednesdays from 2pm-3pm and form 3pm-4pm, alternating to a different team each week.
