Department of Medicine Weekly Roundup - November 16 - 2024 Robert Sheppard Award
Dear Colleagues,
The purpose of the Robert Sheppard Award is to recognize the outstanding contributions of faculty members and postgraduate trainees in the development and/or implementation of activities, programs or research related to social justice and health equity in faculty development or postgraduate medical education.
Up to three awards will be presented annually. Each will receive a certificate with a financial prize.
Winners will be notified in March and faculty winners will be recognized at the Faculty’s Annual Educational Achievement Day in June 2024.
Eligibility for this award is as follows:
- Faculty
Any faculty member, in any department, who participates in the education of postgraduate trainees or to faculty development at the University of Toronto.
- Resident/Fellow
Any resident/fellow currently registered with PGME.
The Nomination Form and check list are attached. The deadline for submission of completed packages to the PGME office is Friday, January 12, 2024. Please submit your package by email to Arlene McKinley at [email protected]
