  • There may be a brief Outlook/Office outage during your planned migration date between 9:00am– 11:00am Please save any meeting links, documents, or files you may need during that window
  • For front-line clinicians, Outlook and Office applications will be accessed via web browser after migration
  • For mobile device access, once you are migrated, please set aside 30-60min to setup Microsoft Intune (our new Mobile Device Management system) and complete the other required activities
  • OneDrive will be available for secure file storage and sharing, replacing personal network drives
  • In‑person and virtual drop‑in support sessions will be available to assist with any migration‑related issues or questions

Amrit and Amr are currently recruiting mentors for the annual LIFT (Leading Inclusive Futures Together) Summer Youth Mentorship Program. The commitment is quite manageable — 2–5 half-days of clinical mentorship, either during the week of July 20–24 or August 10–14. Feedback from mentors in past years has been extremely positive. Please take a look at the attached flyer for more details, and feel free to reach out to either of them directly with any questions.

Sharing an announcement on behalf of Ashley Verduyn, Jonathan Ailon, Keith Johnstone, Norm Dewhurst, and Lindsay Martinek about a new initiative launching next week aimed at improving access to palliative care for long-term care residents admitted to hospital. We wanted to make sure physicians are aware of the initiative in advance. Additional details are included below and in the attached memo.

The participating LTC homes are: Copernicus Lodge, Runnymede LTC, Ivan Franko LTC, Norwood LTC, Lakeshore Lodge, Rekai Centre (Sherbourne and Wellesley sites), Fudger House, and Houses of Providence.

As we start the New Year, there are several exciting developments in the Elements implementation initiative that we’re excited to share with you. If this is the first you’re hearing about this initiative, Elements is the engine for a digital platform that empowers faculty and researchers to showcase their achievements and research through the Discover Research portal. While the features within Elements enable faculty and researchers to curate their public profile, they can also be used to export data into formats that support appointment review and promotion processes. Elements will be replacing the existing WebCV application after March 31, 2026 as the standard curriculum vitae curation tool supported within the Temerty Faculty of Medicine.

To support this transition, the Elements team will be launching a new webinar series that will be available to the faculty and staff moving to the new platform in the coming months.

Webinar Training Series

MedIT will be offering an online multi-session webinar series to help users build their skills and understanding of the Elements platform.

If you’d like to attend (or have an administrative staff member attend on your behalf), please express your interest via the Elements Webinar Sign-Up form.

The Department of Medicine is in the process of transitioning from WebCV to Elements and will decommission our use of WebCV on March 31, 2026. Please ensure you have downloaded a copy of your CV prior to this date for your records.

For faculty who are going through CFAR in spring 2026 or promotions in 2026 or 2027, where final documents are uploaded before March 31, 2026, you may continue to use WebCV. Faculty who are going through CFAR or promotions immediately after this (i.e. CFAR fall 2026 and promotions 2028) will use Elements and will be prioritized for data entry support from the Elements team.
