The Department of Medicine is delighted to Welcome Dr. Dennis Wong, Division of Allergy and Immunology and Dr. Eric Wong, Division of Geriatrics, to the Active Staff

 
 
 
DWDr. Dennis Wong has joined the Division of Allergy and Immunology as a Clinician Teacher and Assistant Professor, effective November 12, 2025. He completed his medical degree and Internal Medicine residency at the University of Toronto, followed by subspecialty training in Clinical Immunology and Allergy. He also holds a PhD in Experimental Medicine from the University of British Columbia, reflecting his strong commitment to academic and research excellence. His research interests include food allergy, cannabis allergy, and anaphylaxis. Dr. Wong has also been a Clinical Associate at St. Michael’s Hospital since September 2022.

 

 

EWDr. Eric Wong joins the Division of Geriatric Medicine as a Clinician Scientist and Assistant Professor as of December 1, 2025. Dr. Wong completed his MD and internal medicine residency at McMaster University, followed by a subspecialty residency in Geriatric Medicine at the University of Toronto. He recently completed a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Health Care Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) under the supervision of Dr. Sharon Straus. He is interested in research to help hospitalized older adults recover to independent living. He provides care on the inpatient geriatric consultation (ICT) team, ACE unit and Elders' Clinic. In his spare time, he plays badminton.  Dr. Wong has been a Clinical Associate at St. Michael’s Hospital since July 2018.
