New Staff Profile: The Department of Medicine is delighted to welcome Dr. Linda Wang, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, to the active staff!

Dr. Linda Wang:  Linda joins the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism as a Clinician Teacher and Lecturer as of September 1, 2024. She received her MD from University of Alberta, followed by Internal Medicine residency at Western University and her Adult Endocrinology and Metabolism fellowship at the University of Ottawa.  In 2021-2022, she undertook a program in Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare, followed by the Program in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.  Linda held an Assistant Professor appointment at Tufts University School of Medicine for a year and a half.  She returned to Toronto in September 2023 where she joined St. Michael’s Hospital as a Clinical Associate and began the Master Teacher Program. 

Linda will continue to fully participate in trainee education. She has also taken on the role of Epic Specialty Champion greatly supporting the transition to the new EPR software with her previous experience with Epic at both the University of Ottawa and Tufts University. Her skills and interests in lipids and bone disorders, teaching, EMR work, and sensible use of automation are very welcome additions to the division. 

Outside of work, she enjoys playing piano, calligraphy, and learning about wildlife.
