Danni's training in vascular neurology and neurointervention places him in a unique position to improve stroke outcomes by leading improvement initiatives across the whole continuum of care for patients with cerebrovascular diseases. His clinical aim is to help further develop the Stroke and Neurovascular programs at SMH. He actively collaborates between stroke neurology and interventional neuroradiology, providing a distinctive bridge between the two disciplines. His clinical research is dedicated to three key areas: 1) exploring outcomes and decision-making in endovascular stroke treatment, 2) investigating innovative devices for aneurysm treatment, and 3) studying the long-term clinical consequences of subarachnoid hemorrhage. His overarching academic goal is to impact clinical practice by actively participating in and leading randomized controlled trials.
He loves exploring the GTA and traveling with his partner. They're into musical theater and have a knack for finding restaurants that ruin their diets.
